Autumn Inspiration
Autumn is the perfect time to plant because the soil is still warm from the summer and the increased chance of rainfall helps promote good root growth and establishes a stronger, healthier root system before the colder winter weather kicks in. Another benefit is that garden pests are less of a threat in the Autumn than they are in Spring and Summer.
By planting during September and October you are effectively planting for the future and you'll see the results next Spring and Summer as your garden flourishes.
