When to Plant Plants for Spring Colour
Spring is the perfect time to inject some colour into your garden, but timing is key. To ensure your plants have the best chance of thriving, it's important to start planting in early spring, typically between March and April, when the soil is warming up but the risk of frost has passed.
For early blooms, some hardy perennials can be planted in late winter or early spring, while others, like summer flowering plants, should be introduced once the frost danger has fully passed. This gives them the head start they need to bloom in time for those glorious spring days.

Why Spring is a Great Gardening Season
Spring is the ideal time for gardening due to the welcoming conditions for plant growth. The soil begins to warm up, making it easier for roots to establish and plants to thrive. The longer days and increased sunlight promote healthy growth and vibrant flowers, allowing you to enjoy a garden full of colour.
It’s also the perfect season to prepare your garden for the summer, by planting perennials, bulbs, and shrubs that will provide blooms throughout the warmer months. Additionally, with the arrival of warmer weather, you can enjoy the process of planting and tending to your garden without the intensity of summer heat. Spring also encourages an abundance of fresh growth and rejuvenation, making it a truly magical time for any garden enthusiast.
