How to Achieve the Look
Start by grouping colours of plants together. Darker shades of burgundy and brown can be achieved using Heuchera Obsidian or Heuchera Forever Purple, Ajuga Black Scallops has rich almost black leaves. Contrast these with Grasses such as Carex Evergold, before adding a splash of red through Begonia Dark Leaf Red.
For height and architectural presence try Phormium Pink Stripe, with its tall, arching bronze-green leaves it makes a great centrepiece. Coleus Kong Rose or Lime Spirit have amazingly coloured foliage in bright green and bronze, with a hint of silver coming from Cineraria Silverdust.
Lift the whole garden during the summer months by planting Geranium Bulls Eye Red. With its dark foliage and bright red flowers, this versatile bedding plant can be used in the borders or as a centrepiece for your containers or hanging baskets. It's long flowering period means you'll get that splash of colour throughout summer!
