Common Sage "Salvia Officinalis". Strong flavour traditionally used to make stuffing and also great for flavouring sausages. A hardy, evergreen perennial herb with narrow pale grey-green leaves. Add flavour to meat and poultry dishes, salads, herb cheeses and vinegar. Sage prefers a sunny location in light, dry, chalky soil. It is drought tolerant and easy to grow.
