A popular red variety of Tomato that produces an abundance of mid-sized fruit. Used by experienced growers and novices alike because they are easily grown in greenhouses, growhouses, polytunnels or outdoors in a suitable spot. Alicante tomatoes have a traditional taste and texture and are relatively sweet. This particular variety of tomato is best grown with some form of support as they can grow to around 2 meters in height, with a spread of 50cm. Make sure you protect from early frosts.
